This skirt is one of my most favorite pieces that I own. I got it from Zara a while ago and it's been in heavy rotation this summer. I almost ruined it by splattering black fabric paint all over it! By the grace of the fashion gods, I was able to save it from ruin... Cute, right?

I have no idea if there is royal blood running through these veins, but it's nice to pretend every once in a while... Purple just works for me and has been one of my favorites since I was a tot... Apparently, I've been on this "skirt kick" but I do stick the legs in a pair of pants every now and then. Promise!

I've never been a great print mixer, no matter what the title says, but the way this outfit came together makes me think I should try my hand at it more often. I LOVE this pairing. It's like the pieces were made to go together, right??!

So... this outfit totally reminds me of watermelon! Hence, the title. It's super girly and I love how the colors of my skirt and shoes just GO. The best part? The skirt is a two-fer because it's reversible. It's a deeper green on the other side, giving you twice the style options. I consider this look sophisticated and fun at the same time; just re-FRESH-ing!

Watermelon also happens to be my all-time favorite fruit to eat in the summer. Sweet like candy, without all the calories... What's yours??

Spent the afternoon playing around in the park today... It was unseasonably cold for June!! My solution? This awesome scarf I picked up from a boutique at my local mall. I absolutely adore the color and how it lights up my complexion. It adds a nice pop to an otherwise basic outfit.
